Accreditation
The Western Day Surgery is accredited by the Australian Council of Health Standards (ACHS).
Accreditation is the outcome of a successful review and evaluation by the ACHS against specific published standards. Such reviews focus on establishing a climate of quality and safety. Some examples of the areas evaluated during the review are governance, human resource management, organizational performance, information management, safety, risk management and continuous improvement processes.
